Italy Invoice Generator
- Italia
Creating invoices in Italy requires compliance with local tax regulations. Every invoice must include your Codice Fiscale (tax identification number) and, if you are VAT-registered, your Partita IVA. The applicable VAT rates in Italy are: 22% (standard), 10% (reduced), 4% (super-reduced). Invoices must use a sequential numbering system and include both the issue date and delivery date.
If your annual turnover stays below 85,000 EUR, you may qualify for the small business exemption known as Regime forfettario. Under 85,000 EUR annual revenue, the flat-rate regime (regime forfettario) applies; no VAT is charged.
For cross-border B2B services within the EU, the reverse charge mechanism applies. Instead of charging VAT, you include the statement: "Inversione contabile" on your invoice. Our generator handles all of this automatically — just select your country and invoice type.
