Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions about euinvoice.app.

Do I need an account?

No. All core invoice features work without an account. You can create unlimited invoices, download PDFs, and use all supported countries and invoice types immediately. An account adds features like invoice history, supplier profile sync, and client management.

Is it really free?

Yes. The core features of euinvoice.app are free forever. This includes creating invoices for all supported countries, PDF download, reverse charge support, and VAT-exempt invoices. The Pro tier (from 12 EUR/month) adds client management, custom numbering, and priority support.

Which countries are supported?

euinvoice.app currently supports 7 EU countries: Slovakia, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Poland, the Czech Republic, and France. Each country has the correct VAT rates, tax ID labels, and legal text built in. More countries are being added.

Is my data safe?

Yes. For anonymous users, all data stays in your browser. For signed-in users, your data is stored securely in a Supabase database accessible only to you. Payments are handled by Stripe -- we never see your credit card details. See the Data & Privacy page for full details.

Can I customize the invoice design?

The current version uses a clean, professional A4 layout designed to look right in any context. Custom design options, including logo upload and color themes, are planned for a future version.

What format is the PDF?

The invoice is generated as a standard A4 PDF with a professional layout. It includes all required fields for your country, properly formatted numbers and dates, and the correct legal text for your invoice type. The PDF is ready to send to your client or upload to your accounting system.

Can I send invoices by email?

Direct email sending from the app is not yet available but is planned for a future release. For now, download the PDF and attach it to an email manually.

Is the reverse charge text legally correct?

Yes. The reverse charge text on each invoice includes the correct reference to your country's local tax law as well as Article 196 of the EU VAT Directive 2006/112/EC. The text is provided in both the local language and English to ensure clarity for cross-border transactions.

Which languages is the app available in?

The euinvoice.app interface is available in 7 languages: English, German, Slovak, Polish, Czech, French, and Dutch. You can switch languages at any time from the language dropdown. Invoices include legal text in the local language of your selected country plus English.

Can I use euinvoice.app on my phone?

Yes. The app is fully responsive and works on mobile devices. The invoice form adapts to smaller screens, and you can download PDFs directly to your phone.

How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

Go to Settings and click "Manage Billing" to open the Stripe customer portal. You can cancel your subscription there. Your Pro features will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
