What is euinvoice.app?
euinvoice.app is a free invoice generator designed specifically for EU freelancers and small businesses. It creates legally compliant invoices with the correct VAT rates, tax ID labels, and legal references for 7 EU countries: Slovakia, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Poland, the Czech Republic, and France.
You can create invoices immediately without an account. If you sign up (free), you get additional features like saving invoices, storing your supplier profile, and managing clients.
Step 1: Select your country
Go to the Create Invoice page and select your country from the dropdown. The correct VAT rates, tax field labels, currency, and date format will be applied automatically.
For example, selecting Germany sets the VAT rate to 19%, uses the label "Steuernummer" for your tax ID, and formats dates as DD.MM.YYYY.
Step 2: Enter supplier details
Fill in your company name, address, tax ID, and VAT ID (if applicable). If you have an account and have set up your Supplier Profile, these fields are pre-filled automatically.
For anonymous users, you can check "Remember my details" to save your information in your browser's localStorage for next time.
Step 3: Enter client details
Add your client's company name, address, country, and VAT ID. If your client is in a different EU country and has a valid VAT ID, the reverse charge mechanism will be detected and suggested automatically.
Pro users can select a saved client from their Client Directory to auto-fill these fields.
Step 4: Add line items
Enter a description, quantity, and unit price for each service or product. VAT is calculated automatically based on the selected invoice type.
You can add as many line items as you need. The totals update in real time as you type.
Step 5: Choose invoice type and download
Select the invoice type: Standard (with VAT), Reverse Charge, or VAT Exempt (small business). The generator applies the correct rates and legal text automatically.
Click "Download Invoice PDF" to generate and download your invoice. The PDF is created entirely in your browser.
If you are signed in, you will be prompted to save the invoice to your account after downloading.
Invoice numbering
By default, invoice numbers are generated sequentially and stored in your browser's localStorage.
If you have a Pro account, you can set a custom invoice prefix and starting number in your Supplier Profile. For example, prefix "INV-2026-" with number 1 would generate "INV-2026-001".
